Congratulations to Jack Marsters, Malo Cosquer, Harry Fordham and Alfie Adams on gaining the coveted British Physics Olympiad (BPhO) silver and bronze awards.
The BPhO aims to encourage the study of Physics and recognise excellence in young physicists through twelve annual Physics and Astronomy and Astrophysics competitions.
This enrichment is an opportunity for students to test their knowledge with stimulating questions whilst developing the skills required for admission to top universities.
Head of Physics, Stuart Lyon said, “The British Physics Olympiad aims to encourage the study of Physics at University and recognise excellence in young physicists. Participation is a challenge for the most able students which allows them to experience the perseverance and determination required to solve harder problems than they would find in the A-level course.”
