Wyke Events Team | Enrichment @ Wyke 6th Form College

INTRODUCING THIS EXCITING ENRICHMENT

The Events Team is an enrichment activity open to all students.

All members of the Events Team are students at Wyke who voluntarily help out at events taking place at the College such as Open Events, Parents’ Evenings and Award Ceremonies.

To be part of the Events Team you need to be available to work at a number of the events, ensure that you can organise a safe way of getting home from each event and behave in a friendly and professional manner as an ambassador for Wyke Sixth Form College towards staff, students, potential students and other visitors to the College.

HOW OFTEN DOES THIS TAKE PLACE?

This enrichment takes place in line with various college events, e.g. open events or award ceremonies.

WHAT WILL I GET OUT OF IT?

Being part of the Events Team can help develop your confidence, broaden your work experience and is an excellent addition to a CV or university application. The enrichment is also a great way to make new friends as there is lots of teamwork involved.

IS THERE A COST OR ANY REQUIRED RESOURCES?

This is a free enrichment, however, as many events take place outside of normal college hours, you are required to organise a safe way of getting home.
