In April, 50 Wyke students went to the University of Nottingham for a bespoke open day.
The university is part of the Russell Group which is renowned for being research led and having excellent rankings in league tables.
Throughout the day, students had a campus tour, focussing on their subjects of interest. Students then had a personal statement workshop and question and answer session with current university students, finding out about the wider student experience such as enrichments and trips.
The experience provided a fantastic opportunity for students to explore their options for their next steps.
