Winter Exams: Throughout December and January, the majority of our student body will engage in either internal or external examinations for their A-Level or Vocational course choices. The exam timetables for next week are now populated with individualised details of exam times and seating. Exams will be based in the Sports Hall, Theatre or Elm Dance Studio. Students with special arrangements will take their exams in allocated rooms.Students can see their timetable on the Student Portal and they should arrive at the appropriate location at no more than 10 minutes before the start of the exam. The official rules and regulations of exams are on the student intranet.Morning exams start at 9AM and afternoon exams start at 1PM.All visual arts students will also have a session in the art department. These times will be released shortly, and teachers will begin informing accordingly.Exam Timetable: http://vle.wyke.ac.uk/examtimetable/index.phpInternal results will be returned by our subject teachers in class as part of the student review that starts the first weeks of January.All internal results will also be released through the Parent Portal in early January and followed up with parental consultation events early in February.Winter Exams: Lessons & College ArrangementsBoth A Level and Vocational exam will be taking place for both Year 1 and Year 2 students and so there will be no lesson timetable for week commencing 13th December. Some vocational courses will still have specific lessons and your teachers will tell you about this.Transport will be running as normal throughout this period and the library and catering facilities will also be open as normal throughout the exam period. Any exams finishing after 4pm will be required to ensure they have transport home.Any students who need to self-isolate during the examination week and are too unwell to undertaken assessments will be required to undertake their assessments upon return to college after the break.Students return to college on Tuesday 4th January 2022.
