The Fab 4 Return to Liverpool

Congratulations to our dance team, who this weekend successfully secured all 4 of their routines a place in the Grand Final of the ‘That’s Showbiz’ national dance competition, which will take place at Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena next month.Wyke’s dance teachers said: “What an amazing weekend at That’s Showbiz. We honestly cannot begin to tell you how proud we are of you all, every single dancer was amazing. Finals here we come!”Over the course of the weekend, the team received an astonishing nine trophies for their outstanding performances:DAY 1 RESULTS1^st in Open Genre for ‘Body Popping Sage Grouse’2^nd place overall for ‘Body Popping Sage Grouse’2^nd in Hip Genre for ‘The Incredibles’Adjudicators Choice Award for ‘The Incredibles’DAY 2 RESULTS1^st in Hip Genre for ‘Ghost Town’2^nd place overall for ‘Ghost Town’Best Small Group for ‘Anatomical Metronome’3rd in Classic Genre for ‘Anatomical Metronome’4^th place overall for ‘Anatomical Metronome’It is another fantastic achievement for Wyke’s dancers, who last year were crowned overall champions of this competition for their Contemporary routine “1942 Land Girls Struggle”. The team overcame tough competition from dance groups from over 200 dance schools across the country to bring home the trophy and £2,500 prize money.This year’s Grand Final will take place on the 22^nd and 23^rd February 2020 and we wish our dancers the very best of luck in defending their national title!
