Fifty of our ambitious second year students have submitted their applications to two of the best universities in the world; Oxford and Cambridge. This year’s cohort have applied to a wide range of colleges and courses from Medicine and Veterinary Science through to Engineering, Law and Liberal Arts.Students are part of Wyke’s Oxbridge Programme enrichment which provides a range of experiences to help broaden student’s horizons and prepare them for the highly competitive application process.Students receive up to date advice on the universities and support in; exploring their courses, writing an effective personal statement, engaging in super-curricular activities and preparing for interview and admissions tests.Paul Hamer Oxbridge Programme Coordinator comments; “Wyke is delighted to support its largest ever Oxbridge entrants of 50 students.
