An exciting opportunity has arisen for an inspirational individual who has the vision, expertise and the desire to lead the large curriculum area of Sociology. The appointee will build on existing strengths, driving improvements to ensure the excellent teaching leads to sustained success.

The successful candidate will be an outstanding teacher with a record of high student achievement. They will be committed to quality improvement and have the ability to engage and inspire staff and students alike. Ideally they will also have demonstrable experience of leading others to deliver successful outcomes. The post holder will be involved in promoting enrichment and enhancement activities as well as the promotion of the department and wider College.

Wyke is looking to recruit a teacher keen to teach A-level and BTEC Law. This very successful department currently has 3 experienced and highly skilled full-time teachers who have supported students to consistently achieve outstanding outcomes.

The successful candidate will be a well-qualified teacher and have excellent classroom skills which have led to a record of high student achievement. This would suit a recently qualified or experienced teacher skilled in delivering lessons with variety and pace.

Invigilators

Casual

£7.20 per hour

We are looking to appoint extra invigilators to work with our exams team to ensure the process runs as smoothly as possible for students. The work will be on a casual basis, mainly in May and June of each year.

The successful candidates will be organised with a calm, pleasant manner and experience of working with young people would be an advantage. Significant availability between 2 May and 20 June 2016 is essential and those appointed would be required to attend a half-day training event on the 25th or 29th April.
