The Sunday Times’ Parent Power national league table for 11-18 schools and colleges has placed Wyke Sixth Form College at 41.
The definitive league tables ranks the 2,000 most academically successful schools in the state and independent sectors.
Using the data from the 2019 examination results, The Sunday Times survey identifies the highest-achieving 11-18 schools in the UK.
The analysis of the data places Wyke in the top 2% nationally, the highest ranked provider in our region.
Principal Paul Britton said, “I am incredibly proud of all the students and staff at Wyke; they make this a fantastic place to study and work, as shown by our recent national performance in the Parent Power table.
We want the very best for our students, our ambition is to be the best provider of sixth form education in the country. Our view is why shouldn’t the young people of Hull and the Humber region have access to the finest education? This recognition shows we are getting close to delivering on this vision.”
