Programme of Events

Explore Wyke Sixth Form College from the comfort of your own home with our 2nd Virtual Open Evening on Thursday 12th November, 5.00pm-8.00pm.  Just like our on-campus offering, our virtual event has 5 main elements as shown below:

1) Facebook Live Showcase Events Schedule (5.00pm-8.00pm)

Wyke’s Principal Paul Britton will be kick-starting our Open Event with a warm welcome to all prospective students and their parents/ guardians through our Facebook Live Event at 5.00pm. We have lots of exciting events scheduled throughout the evening from staff and current students which you can tune into at your leisure through the Wyke Sixth Form College Facebook Page.

2) Course Introductions (5.00pm – 8.00pm)

Watch our subject introduction videos which give you the opportunity to learn about all of the courses we offer including the curriculum, assessment methods and fantastic destinations students progress onto.

3) Meet the Teachers  (6.00pm – 7.30pm)

Meet our specialist Level 3 Teachers and ask any further questions you may have by joining their Live Question & Answer sessions through Microsoft Teams. These sessions run from 6.00pm-7.30pm.

4) 360-Degree Virtual Campus Tour (5.00pm-8.00pm)

Take a virtual stroll around our beautiful campus. There are four buildings in total for you to explore; Oak, Ash, Elm and Wilson. Hover over the areas of interest to find out more and to download our course leaflets.

5) Learn about our Fantastic Student Support and Well Being Services (6.00pm-7.30pm)

Learn about how we support our students by watching our student support introduction videos. You can also ask any further questions that you may have by joining the Live Question & Answer sessions through Microsoft Teams. These live sessions run from 6.00pm-7.30pm.

You will be access all of the content through a computer, table or mobile device. For our Live Question and Answer sessions (6.00pm-7.30pm), we recommend downloading the Microsoft Teams app. This is available at: Download Microsoft Teams
