We are delighted to announce that 5 of our second year students have been successful in their interviews at The University of Oxford.
Over the last few months, our students have been working exceptionally hard; combining their academic study programme with preparation for an interview at one of the most prestigious universities in the world.
Our successful students had interviews for a range of courses; Modern Languages, Medicine, Psychology, Law and Chemistry and recently received the exciting news that they had been successful.
This is an amazing achievement for our students especially given the exceptional circumstances they are currently facing. Paul Hamer, Head of Wyke’s Oxbridge Programme had the following to say:
“The success of our students who have come from a variety of secondary schools across Hull and the wider Humber region, proves that students from our city, with the help of our dedicated Wyke staff, can succeed in gaining places at some of the top universities in the world.”
We would like to say a huge well done to these 5 students and to all students who took part in this highly competitive process.
You can hear more from our fantastic students themselves throughout the week as they have provided us with a great insight into their journey so far, what inspired them to apply to Oxford and their top interview tips.
