TED stands for Technology, Entertainment, Design — three broad subject areas that are collectively shaping our world. Each Tuesday lunch, leading up to Easter, Wyke will be showing a different TED talk on the big screen at 1pm.
A TED conference explores a range of themes and examines how they interconnect. As they take in the program, attendees and speakers from vastly different fields can cross-fertilize and draw inspiration from unlikely places. This is the magic of TED.
The first talk in the series is “Do schools kill creativity?”, scheduled for Tuesday 28th February. Sir Ken Robinson makes an entertaining and profoundly moving case for creating an education system that nurtures creativity.
