Jack Conman Plays Radio 1’s Big Weekend

Jack Conman

Former Wyke Music Technology student Jack Conman is playing one of the biggest gigs of his career this weekend. On Sunday, Jack will be playing the “Introducing Stage” at the BBC Radio 1 Big Weekend, an event that features the household names of Katy Perry, Kings of Leon and Little Mix.

This landmark appearance follows on from the success of his debut EP “Euphoria Spring” which reached the top ten of the iTunes singer songwriter charts in 2016. According to local DJ Alan Raw this is just the beginning of Jack’s rise to the top.

On the BBC website Alan writes, “With so much grace and maturity in his music so early in his career, Jack Conman is meant for great things. He is a phenomenon, a one-off, a must see. He owned the audience at the BBC Introducing Humberside Stage at Hull’s Humber Street Sesh last year. He’s a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and effortless maker of musical masterpieces. Now Big Weekend, prepare to surrender yourselves to Jack.”
