Wyke is an established, highly successful Sixth Form College with an outstanding reputation in the locality. The October 2013 Ofsted inspection reflected extremely positively on the College (The College with the Wow Factor) and also recognised English, science and mathematics (including Health and Social Care as outstanding)  . The college draws students from Kingston-upon-Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, and further afield.

We believe that the results and demand for Health and Social Care places confirm it as an ‘outstanding’ department with results that place us in the top 25% nationally. Teachers within the department support students with a range of extra-curricular revision workshops, a highly successful work experience programme and strategic links with employers which have helped contribute to the department’s outstanding outcomes.

Wyke is looking to recruit an excellent Health & Social Care teacher to join this friendly and supportive department.

  • You should be a well-qualified teacher and have excellent classroom skills which have led to a record of high student achievement.
  • This post will would suit a newly qualified or experienced teacher skilled in delivering lessons which are geared towards the BTEC specifications. Applications from teachers less familiar with BTEC but with appropriate skills are also welcome.
