INTRODUCING THIS EXCITING ENRICHMENT

The Preparation for Adulthood course is a year long program which is designed for students with additional needs to ensure that they are well prepared for life after Wyke. However, anyone who feels that they may benefit from additional preparation for the next stage in their lives is welcome to express an interest in taking part.

The Additional Learning Support team deliver an interactive and participant led program of activities which consider areas such as planning for university, money matters and keeping safe.

HOW OFTEN DOES THIS TAKE PLACE?

This enrichment takes place across one lunchtime each week for the full academic year.

WHAT WILL I GET OUT OF IT?

Through the completion of the program, students gain important knowledge and skills on a broad range of topics which enable them to make a successful transition to university or their preferred post – 18 career pathway.

This is a free enrichment and all resources are provided.
