In March 2023, our Psychology students returned from the first international trip to Disneyland Paris!
The purpose of the trip was to expand students' psychological skills. Students attended a Psychology Live Conference and heard from three experts including Dr Julia Ravey's research on Alzheimer's and Professor Craig Jackson's work on criminal profiling.
The highlight of the conference was Dr Peter Lovatt (aka Dr Dance) who demonstrated how structured and improvised dance can improve the symptoms of patients with Parkinson's.
Students also completed psychology challenges around the Disney parks, which included the psychology of queuing and fear.
This was a phenomenal trip. Thank you to all the staff and students who participated!
